Good Governance Will Be Restored In Africa, - President, International Youth Parliament



Honourable Promise Nwadigos, President of the International Youth Parliament has reassured youths that Good Governance will be restored in Africa. He said the Youth Will Take The Lead Through IYP Leadership Intervention.

The President Of  The International Youth Parliment IYP Hon. Engr Promise Anurika Nwadigos, in his Leadership speech recently at Houdegbe North American University Benin Republic, once again promise young Africans that the journey to leadership Eldorado has began in earnest through the International Youth Parliament.

Nwadigos, said that IYP  has started a journey of making sure the African youth take the long overdue Leadership positions that have been hijacked by our fathers, and in his speech promised that his tenure as the president will revive the African Leadership system by making sure our young intellectuals see the need to remain and make use of the natural resources in our continent.

Nwadigos made this declaration while addressing African students at Houdegbe North American University Pekadis Benin Republic. He appealed that youth should not run out of the continent but should remain focused diligent in all they do as the future is bright with the coming of IYP.

According to him, “Wickedness, lack Of Jobs, hatred from our leaders, abuse on our girls, insecurity, hunger and not giving space for young intellectuals in Leadership” were some of the factors militating against the needed progress of Africa and Africans, “hence during my tenure as the IYP president, I will focus my attention on bringing young Africans out of the hands of old wicked leaders to enable our youth have a space in today's leadership without fear of any kind.”

Nwadigos  also reminded many Nigerian youths in that country to  disagree with and disregard those who said that the youths of Nigeria are lazy, and only needed free money.

He said: “From available records, Nigerian youths have excelled in sports, entitlement industry, among others and I wondered why somebody would said that the Nigerian and most African youths are lazy”

“The International Youth Parliament, very soon will restructure African young people’s mindset by empowering the youths, eradicating hunger, poverty and above all

Give space for them to take over in African Leadership.”

In most African countries young people with great degree's work for peanut  “most of them can’t even afford to live in  the city not minding their tireless efforts of working six to six while foreigners without any form of  degree supervise and earn big working few hours per day, thereby over stretching their life for 0 cent.


He therefore called on the youth not to lose faith in Africa for it is us that will bring it to the   standard of admiration, and that IYP has already started.

He consequently promised that IYP from all over Africa would nominate a credible aspiring leaders that will be voted in by the general assembly and must be an intellectual  that has what it takes to turn things  around for the  benefit of the all African youth in our continent.
